Gas Turbine Noise Concerns

Call on ENtec Solutions for assistance with your gas turbine noise concerns. Whether it is analysis of potential noise solutions for a greenfield facility or an existing plant, our decades of experience in acoustical design techniques can assist in developing an optimized solution.

Our proven analysis techniques, including state-of-the-art 3D noise mapping software and advanced silencer designs, allow us to stand behind our guarantees. These same techniques also allow us to zero-in on designs that comply with client space constraints or critical pressure drop requirements. We offer acoustical guarantees for dBA criteria, dBC criteria and octave band criteria.

Intake Systems

Gas Turbine Intake Systems

Based upon our vast experience with gas turbine intake systems, ENtec brings value to our clients by providing an optimized balance between low pressure drop and high acoustic performance. Our understanding of internal component design practices to prevent turbine foreign object damage, together with manufacturing techniques to ensure cleanliness, allows trouble-free operation of this critical gas turbine auxiliary system.

Exhaust Systems

Gas Turbine Exhaust Systems

ENtec’s design team has decades of experience in designing gas turbine exhaust systems to survive in the most demanding of conditions.  Typically used for peaking power or gas compressor station applications, simple cycle gas turbine exhaust systems take the brunt of the combustion turbine exhaust temperature, pressure, and turbulence. Using state-of-the-art analysis techniques, we ensure that our systems will stand up to the cyclic duty, turbulent flow regimes and temperature extremes expected in this environment.

Emissions Control Systems

Selective Catalytic Reduction System

Both CO and NOx emissions reduction via catalyst systems requires an extensive understanding of exhaust gas flow analysis.  Exhaust flow straightening techniques, as well as efficient mixing of tempering air and ammonia, are critical to meeting emissions reduction and ammonia slip guarantees.  ENtec engineers have been providing optimized solutions for catalyst applications for over a decade.
